Finding the Right Home or Selling your House

Deciding where to begin, can be a stressful experience all in itself. What is the economy doing?  Is it a good time to buy in McAllen, TX? Are there still mortgages available?  What if I want to live in Mission or Weslaco.  What about Pharr or Edinburg.  If you need help sifting through some of these barriers to buying or selling your home I hope this website provides some of the answers you are seeking.

First, has the market changed, you bet!! We are however lucky here in the Rio Grande Valley.  Unlike some parts of the country our economy is still growing.  Partially due to our close proximity to the border and partially because our property values were not inflated like other parts of the country. 

Second, It's a great time to buy.  Interest rates are still at an all time low.  The most significant difference is that you need to qualify for your loan by having a good credit score and be able to manage a down payment.  It's the way it should have been all along.  It's a good thing really.  Getting prequalified for your loan helps protect you from becoming discouraged or disappointed by shopping for homes outside of your price range. If you would like a list of lenders fill out my online form and I will be happy to send you some.  Some will even prequalify you over the phone and work with you to repair your credit score.
